Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
308 AM EST Thu Nov 20 2025

.DISCUSSION....
A secondary cold front will move through ENC early this morning.
High pressure then rebuilds rebuilds offshore late this week
with above normal temperatures returning. A frontal system will
bring the next chance of rain this weekend, with cooler and
drier conditions expected early next week. Another system brings
a small chance for rain by mid week next week.

Despite breezy conditions at times this morning through this weekend,
fire weather concerns are low due to high afternoon relative
humidity values the next several days.
