...LINE OF SHOWERS MAY BRING LOCALIZED GUSTY WINDS AND A BRIEF
WATERSPOUT...

An ongoing line of showers and isolated thunderstorms currently
extending from Core Banks to 40+ nm offshore is tracking
northeastwards at about 20 to 25 kts. Some of these showers and
storms have shown at least a little organization over the past
hour or so with the potential for 25-30 kt wind gusts within the
showers. In addition to this, there is a brief potential for an
isolated waterspout or two along this line this evening before it
tracks out of the area. Current threat extends northwards to the
waters off Cape Hatteras until about 8PM. Afterwards the threat
is forecast to quickly diminish.
