...THE GROWING SEASON HAS ENDED ACROSS MUCH OF ENC...

A season ending freeze for the growing season occurred across
Martin, Pitt, Greene, Lenoir, Duplin, Onslow, West Carteret,
Jones, Craven, Beaufort, Washington, Tyrrell, Mainland Hyde, and
Mainland Dare last night as temps fell to 32 F or below for
several hours overnight across these counties. As a result the
frost and freeze program has ended for these counties for the
season and will begin again in Spring of 2026.
