.DISCUSSION...
Thursday into the weekend, onshore (NE-ENE) winds are forecast to
diminish some, but still pick up to 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph
in the afternoons. Overnight, more gentle winds are expected, but
occasionally gusty conditions along the coast remain possible.
Slightly drier air filtering in from the north knocks rain chances
down to 20-50% for a couple days, before higher moisture and rain
chances return this weekend. Very low (20% or less) chance for
storms with occasional cloud to ground lightning. Any storms that
manage to develop and heavy showers will be capable of wind gusts to
45 mph. Coastal flooding concerns will diminish but linger into
Friday. No min RH concerns. Afternoon dispersion values are forecast
to be Generally Good.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
