.DISCUSSION...
Dry air settles across the Florida peninsula this weekend as broad
high pressure develops, with rain and storms not forecast over the
next couple of days. Minimum RH values are anticipated to fall into
the 35-40% range near and north of the I-4 corridor, remaining above
40% southward. Breezy northerly winds persist in Saturday, with wind
speeds of 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph possible, highest
along the coast. By Sunday, winds diminish to around 10 mph,
becoming variable. Afternoon smoke dispersion values are forecast to
be fair to generally good on Saturday, becoming fair on Sunday as
transport winds diminish.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
