.DISCUSSION...
Drier air spreads across central Florida today. However, low levels
should remain moist enough to support rounds of scattered onshore-
moving showers across southern counties near Lake Okeechobee. Only a
limited lightning threat exists. Isolated to scattered showers
remain in the forecast Wednesday before an unsettled pattern sets up
late week. A cold front sweeps across central Florida into Saturday,
and a dry, post-frontal airmass settles across the area by early
next week. East winds around 15-20 mph are forecast to persist the
next several days, especially along the coast. There are no min RH
concerns, with generally good smoke dispersion. High temperatures in
the mid to upper 80s will show a downward trend by Thursday, only
reaching the low 80s into the weekend.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
