.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will stall across the Deep South into north Florida
through today, with continued onshore winds around 5-10 mph
prevailing. Isolated to widely scattered showers across the local
coastal waters may occasionally push onshore along the coast into
today, with the potential for some of this activity spreading
farther inland into the afternoon. Low pressure will then push
northeast across the southeast U.S. Tuesday, eventually dragging a
cold front through central Florida Tuesday night. Rain chances
increase Tuesday ahead of the front, with scattered to numerous
showers and isolated lightning storms pushing northeast and offshore
during the day. Any storms that develop will have the potential to
produce lightning strikes and strong wind gusts. However, even
outside of any storms it will be breezy Tuesday, with southwest
winds up to 15-20 mph and gusts to 30 mph.
No minimum RH concerns forecast through at least mid-week, with
dispersion values Generally Good today, Generally Good to Very Good
on Tuesday, and Poor to Fair on Wednesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, patchy, locally dense, fog will be possible this morning,
especially across the interior. Localized visibility reductions due
to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible even if fog is
not forecast.
