.DISCUSSION...
Uncertain development of a weak area of low pressure over the
Atlantic waters is decreasing forecast confidence some, but
generally expected gradually increasing moisture in breezy/gusty
onshore winds through the weekend. Rain chances 40-70% Saturday
(highest along the coast) increase to around 70% areawide Sunday.
Northeast to East winds 15-25 mph with gusts near 30 mph in the
afternoons, with windy conditions possible along the coast. Smoke
dispersion values will be Good to Very Good despite lower mixing
heights from strong transport winds. Occasional lightning is
forecast along with locally heavy rainfall which should result in
localized flooding in some areas, especially along the coast.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
