.DISCUSSION...
Drier air continues to filter across east central Florida, resulting
in no mentionable rain chances through Friday. Winds at 5-10 mph
shift to the NE-ENE today, and S-SW on Friday. Min RHs 45% or higher
today. Afternoon dispersion values will be rather Poor today
returning to Fair to Generally Good on Friday/Saturday. Rain chances
return to the forecast on Saturday-Saturday night ahead of another
slow-approaching cold front, with a low to medium (20-50 percent)
chance of rain, mainly north of the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee
counties. Precip chances jump to 30-70 percent areawide on Sun as
the front gets closer to the area. A low threat of lightning storms
also returns later this weekend and possibly into early Monday.
Drier conditions return again by Monday night/Tuesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, patchy fog will be possible across east central Florida
late tonight into early Friday morning. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
