.DISCUSSION...
Weak trough of low pressure across north central Florida will
dissipate today. Hurricane Erin is forecast to curve northward well
east of Florida Tue which will allow high pressure to build down the
southeast U.S. coast Tuesday and Wednesday. Resulting drier air will
reduce rain chances slightly Tuesday. North-northeast flow develops
Monday, increasing to 10-20 mph by Tuesday with some higher gusts
along the coast. Dispersion values will be generally Good along the
coast today and Fair interior. Increased surface and transport winds
Tue will produce Very Good to Excellent dispersion. Max temperatures
in the low 90s along the coast and low to mid 90s inland.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
