.DISCUSSION...
Onshore low level flow will continue across east central Florida
through the weekend. Isolated to scattered showers and lightning
storms are forecast this morning mainly near the coast from Cape
Canaveral southwards before rain chances increase from the southeast
to northwest across east central Florida into the afternoon. The
greatest chance for scattered to numerous showers and lightning
storms is between 12PM and 8PM today. Scattered to numerous showers
and lightning storms are forecast to develop Saturday afternoon and
evening with the greatest chances between 2PM-7PM. The potential
exists for isolated strong storms. Rain chances will remain high
through the weekend. East-southeast winds at 10-15mph with gusts to
20mph are forecast today before weakening slightly into the weekend
at 5-10mph.
Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to low 90s are expected with heat
index values up to 98F-106F degrees. No critical RH concerns are
expected. Dispersion values will be Poor to Generally Good each day
through the weekend.
Fog potential...Widespread fog is not forecast. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
