In the upper levels, a deep trough remains over the Eastern U.S.
This weekend, the region will be stuck between a weak ridge over the
Southeast and a strong trough to the north. At the surface, high
pressure will be over the region through Saturday bringing dry
weather. On Sunday, a weak frontal passage is possible as a
system moves through the Great Lakes. Very low rain chances will
be possible on Sunday but it looks likely to be a dry and
uneventful passage with only a slight dip in dew points and temps
behind it. By Monday or Tuesday of next week, a more substantial
system will be possible and may include a soaking rain.

Temperatures will start to rebound today getting to near normal by
tomorrow with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. This weekend
will be a bit warmer with highs near 70 for much of the Valley due
to southerly winds.

LLWS will be the main aviation concern tonight as a strong LLJ
from the west will set up over the area. Surface winds will not
drop to calm, but the difference from the surface up to 2 kft will
still be 30-35 kt, with a directional difference of 40-80 degrees.
The LLWS should end around 15Z when winds aloft mix down to the
surface and increase winds gusts tomorrow, up to 25 kt at TYS.
