.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry on Sunday with light terrain-driven wind
initially. The thermal trough over eastern Washington and Oregon
will strengthen Sunday night and allow for easterly winds to
develop, especially across mid to upper slopes. This will strengthen
thermal belts with poorer humidity recovery. The easterlies will be
the strongest from late evening through midnight then diminish a
little by morning. This pattern will likely repeat itself for much
of next week (hot and dry then night-time easterlies). The pattern
starts to change by Friday into next weekend where the NBM gives
this location a 20 percent probability for a wetting rain that would
likely come from showers and thunderstorms.
