.DISCUSSION...As expected, the marine layer has spread well inland
for the Central Coast and portions of the Bay Area. The marine
layer appears to be at roughly 1000 to 1500 ft, with most sites
having good recovery. The exception is along the higher points of
the Napa and Sonoma hills where north to northeasterly winds have
dried things out. Expect winds to gradually shift to the south up
there and onshore flow to return late this evening into early
Tuesday morning. The pattern is conducive for nighttime and
morning stratus, especially for areas near the coast. Below normal
to near seasonal temperatures are expected this week.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
