Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure prevails across the eastern Gulf.
Looking ahead, a cold front is forecast to reach the NE Gulf on
Fri, then stall, and remain nearly stationary through Sun with
little change in winds and seas. A weak high pressure regime will
persist in the SE Gulf through the weekend into early next week.
Under this weather pattern, mainly gentle to moderate winds and
slight seas will prevail.

.OVERNIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft
or less.
.FRI...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
.SAT...SE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to W in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON...N to NE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NW in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A couple of surface troughs result in unsettled
weather conditions north of 25N. Looking ahead, a cold front is
forecast to reach the waters off NE Florida on Fri, then stall,
and remain nearly stationary through Sun extending from near
Bermuda to N Florida. Moderate to fresh NE winds and moderate
seas are expected in the wake of the front by Sun. The Atlantic
ridge will dominate the remainder of the forecast region
producing a gentle to moderate anticyclonic flow.

.OVERNIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft
or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms.
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
.SAT...S of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, SE to S
winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or
less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN...SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NW to N in the afternoon.

.SUN NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
