One low center will remain nearly stationary near the mouth of the Delaware Bay today. A trough extends south from that center to a second low center well S of the waters. The northern center will dissipate just inland tonight into Tue as a new center forms over the outer Mid- Atlantic waters. Mariners should continue to monitor later forecasts on this coastal system as it will be highly impactful to the mariner through the middle of the week. The entire complex low will drift SE away from the waters Tue night through Wed night. High pressure will build S into the eastern U.S. Wed through Fri. On Thu, the broad low, still well E of the waters, will drift back W, leading to a strengthening pressure gradient across the waters. The low will finally move E away from the area Fri night as high pressure builds E offshore into the Mid- Atlantic waters.
