New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A low pressure trough will
move SE over the waters today as an area of low pressure
intensifies E of the area today into Thu while pulling a series
of low pressure troughs or secondary reinforcing cold fronts over
the waters. A high pressure ridge will build E over the area
later tonight and Thu, then shift E of the area and become
notably weaker Thu night into Fri as another low develops well S
and SE of the area Fri night into Sat. A weak cold front will
move across the waters later Thu night into Fri. Another high
pressure area will move rapidly E over the waters later Fri into
Fri night as a strong cold front approaches from the W. The
strong cold front will approach the coast by late Sat, before
moving E and SE over the waters Sat night into Sun as low
pressure develops and moves NE along the front. The front will
pass E and SE of the waters late Sun as another low forms along
the front to the S of the region. The low will pass E of the
waters Sun night as strong arctic high pressure builds SE towards
the waters from the central areas of the country.
