New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure should move
quickly E of the Gulf of Maine tonight, then in a persistent NW-
to-N flow, a series of surface troughs will move through the
waters through Fri night. High pressure builds E over the area
Fri night and Sat, moving E Sat night as a warm front approaches
and then moves into the waters from the SW. Low pressure and a
cold front move E across the area Sun, then a series of surface
troughs will move over the waters Sun night through Mon night
around strong low pressure over SE Canada. Even after low
pressure moves well N along Atlantic Canada, surface troughs will
continue to move SE across the area around the broad low Tue and
Tue night.
