.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A strong cold front will develop
and move S and SE over the waters tonight into Wed as low
pressure strengthens well to the NE of the area. The front will
pass SE of the area Wed night, as a high pressure ridge moves E
towards the coast. The ridge will quickly weaken Thu as low
pressure develops off the North Carolina coast. The low will
strengthen while moving E of the waters Thu night. High pressure
will move E over the region Fri into Fri night, passing E of the
waters early Sat ahead of the next cold front. The front will
approach the coast later Sat as low pressure develops along the
front. The front will move slowly E and SE over the waters Sat
night into Sun as the low strengthens and tracks NE along the
frontal boundary. The low will pass NE of the area by Sun
afternoon as another low develops along the front off the
Delmarva coast. This low will also strengthen and pass E of the
waters early Sun night while pulling a strong cold front SE over
the waters. Strong arctic high pressure will build E towards the
region from the Midwest later Sun night as the front moves E and
SE of the offshore waters.
