West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A front will be nearly stationary
over and near the E waters through Thu as weak low pressure
centers move NE along the front. Meanwhile, high pressure will be
located over the NW waters. The front should move slightly N as a
warm front Thu and Fri as a cold front approaches the waters from
the W. The slow-moving cold front should weaken as it moves E
across the waters Fri before dissipating Fri night, with the warm
front passing off to the NE. Another cold front approaches the N
waters from the W Sat, moves into the N and central waters Sat
night and early Sun, and finally reaches the S waters late Sun
and Sun night before dissipating. High pressure builds into the
NW waters from the W behind the front. A stationary boundary will
form and extend across the waters Sat or Sat night, then remain
in place through Mon night.

39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W
