.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure just E of the S
waters will lift slowly NE along a stationary front today and
tonight while a cold front moves S into the N waters. The cold
front will become stationary across the central waters tonight
through Tue night. High pressure will build S into the N waters
behind the front, then move NE away from the area Wed. Hurricane
Erin, currently well SE of the waters, will track N into the
outer S waters on Wed, then turn NE and move through the outer
central waters Thu, and the Outer Mid- Atlantic Waters Thu night
into Fri. Long period SE to S swell from Erin, already affecting
the S waters, will spread N into the central and N waters late
tonight through Tue night. Significant swell will continue
through Fri night while gradually backing to the E Wed through
Thu night. For more information on Hurricane Erin, please closely
monitor the latest forecasts from the National Hurricane Center.
