beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front moves through the S
waters tonight while a surface trough moves through the N waters.
As low pressure moves slowly E across the Gulf of Maine Thu, yet
another cold front will move S over the N and central waters Thu
and Thu night, before gradually weakening over the S waters Fri
and Fri night. High pressure will build E Fri night and Sat, with
a warm front slowly moving N over the central and N waters Sat
and Sat night. A cold front approaches from the W late Sat night
and passes over the most of the area Sun and Sun night associated
with a low moving over the N waters Sun. A strong, secondary cold
front moves into the N waters late Sun and into the central
waters Sun night before weakening. High pressure gradually builds
E again over the waters Mon and Mon night.

Hudson Canyon to Baltimore Canyon including the waters west of
39.3N 71.9W...SW to 37.7N 72.9W
