from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A strengthening coastal low will
continue moving slowly N just offshore of the SE U.S. today. A
secondary low will form offshore of the Virginia Capes tonight.
The original low will then move quickly E across the southern
waters late tonight through Mon night before becoming absorbed
into the broadening secondary low Tue, now over the outer Mid-
Atlantic waters. This broad complex low will continue moving
slowly E through the outer Mid- Atlantic waters Mon night through
Tue night, before moving E of the area Wed. Mariners must monitor
later forecasts on the coastal system, and execute avoidance
plans as needed. This will be a long duration event for the east
coast, and impactful to the mariner. High pressure will build S
into the eastern U.S. Wed into Thu, maintaining a strong pressure
gradient across the northern and central waters. A new area of
low pressure will likely form just E of the outer Mid- Atlantic
waters Thu and remain nearly stationary into Thu night.
