New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A cold front across the S
waters this morning will pass S of the area today and tonight as
high pressure builds S across the region. The high will remain
over the area Tue, then shift E of the area Tue night through Wed
night. Hurricane Erin will remain S and E of the waters. Tropical
storm conditions will be possible in the far SE waters Thu night
as it lifts NE through the Outer Mid- Atlantic Waters. Long
period S swell from Hurricane Erin will move into the region Tue,
then continue through Thu night before backing to the SE and E
Thu night through Fri night. A high pressure ridge will build
across the waters late Fri and Fri night. For more information on
