Dry weather is expected through Friday. High pressure moving over
the region on Wednesday and Thursday will result in poor smoke
dispersion with afternoon mixing heights 1000-1500 feet and light
transport winds. A weather system will begin to spread increasing
cloud cover for the burn unit on Saturday with a 40 percent chance of
rain, increasing to 50 percent for Sunday and Monday. A north wind
is not expected for the burn area for the next several days, but may
switch out of the north on Monday or Tuesday behind a cold front.
