Heat will be the main weather issues again today with temperatures
rising to near 100 and the heat index to near 105. There is a
chance for showers and thunderstorms to develop near the fireground
this afternoon and this evening. If showers or storms develop nearby,
be alert for the potential wind shifts and gusty winds caused by
outflow from these thunderstorms. If showers and storms do not
develop nearby, winds will generally remain from the south or
southeast.
