.DISCUSSION...Light mountain rain and snow persists through much
of the weak, peaking Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.
Elevations at 4000 feet and above across the Washington Cascades
could pick up around 7 inches during that timeframe. Daily wetting
rain amounts also expected over the Blue Mountains through
Wednesday. Breezy winds across the Columbia Basin and Gorge
Tuesday into Wednesday, with gusts of up to 40 mph possible in
wind prone and exposed areas of the Simcoe Highlands.
