  with widespread below freezing temperatures through the early
  morning hours.

- Warming trend begins Tuesday and continues through the week.
  Precipitation and colder temperatures return for the weekend.

.SHORT TERM /THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT/...

Freeze warning in effect in Eastern Magic Valley and Snake River
Plain through 10 am this morning. Will have clear skies and
continued warming today with highs in the 50s mountains and 60s
valleys with milder lows overnight with mainly 20s mountain
valleys and 30s higher elevations and Snake Plain and Magic
Valley. It will continue to warm Wednesday with highs in the
upper 60s to lower 70s in valleys and 50s and 60s mountains. No
wind impacts expected in short term period.

.LONG TERM /THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY/...

Thursday will be the warmest day in the forecast period with
strong southwesterly flow aloft continuing with stronger
southerly winds in the 10 to 15 mph range expected. Widespread
high temperatures in the 70s with mainly 60s mountains. An upper
level trof will approach Friday through the weekend with showers
returning Friday and continuing through the weekend. Friday will
remain well above normal with most low elevations still in the
70s. The significant cool down post cold frontal passage will
begin Saturday with highs in the 40s and 50s Saturday through
next Tuesday. And lows will be back into the teens and 20s
mountains to 20s and 30s valleys Saturday night through Monday
night.

Clear skies and light winds are expected to continue through
tonight into Wednesday morning. No flying impacts are expected.

Main theme will be significant warming trend today through
Thursday with highs well above normal by Thursday. Light winds
expected today and Wednesday with winds by Thursday expected in
the 10 to 15 mph range. The chance for showers will return
Friday and continue into early next week with a significant
cool down and well below normal temperatures expected Saturday
through next Tuesday.
