...THUNDERSTORMS WITH WINDS OVER 45 MPH...HEAVY RAIN...AND SMALL
HAIL WILL IMPACT CARIBOU...NORTHEASTERN ONEIDA...EASTERN
BANNOCK...SOUTHEASTERN POWER...NORTHERN FRANKLIN...BEAR LAKE AND
SOUTHEASTERN BINGHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 900 AM MDT...

At 826 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Arimo to near Thatcher to 7
miles southeast of Dingle. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 45 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated and mesonet observations.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Soda Springs, Montpelier, McCammon, Lava Hot Springs, Blackfoot
Reservoir, Swanlake, Chesterfield Reservoir, Bear Lake Idaho Portion,
Grace, Downey, Georgetown, Arimo, Saint Charles, Dingle, Thatcher,
Henry, Oneida Narrows Reservoir, Virginia, Chesterfield, and Paris.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
