The Flood Watch has expired for a portion of south central Arizona,
including the following areas, Aguila Valley, Northwest Valley and
Tonopah Desert.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch has
expired.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the
  following areas, Cave Creek/New River, Deer Valley, Mazatzal
  Mountains, New River Mesa and Rio Verde/Salt River.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Rainfall amounts of one half to one inch have already fallen
    across much of the watch area saturating soils. Additional
    rainfall, which could be moderate to heavy at times, is
    likely to occur through tonight which will cause flooding
    concerns.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
