.DISCUSSION...
No weather concerns are expected today, with above normal
temperatures and dry conditions (Min RH values around 25%). A N/NW
downriver wind is favored through most of the day, with speeds
increasing slightly, to 5-10 mph, around mid-morning. Winds weaken
to 5 mph or lower heading through the afternoon, which may support
a brief wind shift to a light southerly upriver wind mid to late
afternoon.

A weather system will move through the region Friday, bringing a
slight increase in moisture and there will be a slight chance
(30%) for a rain shower from mid-morning through midday. The
chance for wetting rain with any shower is very low (<10%). Occasional
gusty N/NW winds (up to 20 mph) are expected Friday morning,
especially with any shower that impacts the area. Gustiness will
subside in the afternoon, but wind directions will still tend to
favor a N/NW component throughout the afternoon.
