.Discussion...
Snow and wind will gradually decrease across the mountains tonight
with a drier and cooler day on tap for Sunday. Winds will be
lighter across the region, but still breezy in the afternoon across
the mountain areas. Temperatures will gradually warm again through
the early to middle part of next week, with passing systems bringing
some sporadic light snow showers to the central mountains at times.
A dry cold front will bring cooler temperatures for Thursday.
Wednesday will be warm and windy again across the mountains and
adjacent plains though humidity levels across the lower elevations
stay too high for critical fire weather conditions to materialize. A
dry cold front will knock a few degrees off high temperatures for
the latter part of the work week into next weekend.
Smoke dispersions will range from a mix of poor to fair across the
mountains, valleys and adjacent plains, to good to very good across
the far eastern plains on Sunday. Dispersions on Monday will be poor
for most areas with pockets of fair to good across the mountains.
