.Discussion...
Slightly cooler weather will return for Thursday with isolated afternoon
thunderstorms possible across the southeast mountains. Meanwhile
the western mountains and interior valleys will stay warm and breezy.
Friday will be warmer and drier for all areas as breezy west winds
return. Weather conditions will be critical at times across the mountains,
valleys and adjacent plains at times through Friday, paring back to
mainly mountains and the San Luis Valley over the weekend. However
fuels in green up status will preclude the need for any fire weather
highlights. Thunderstorm chances will increase over the weekend into
early next week with Sunday seeing the best chance for wetting rains across
the southeast mountains. Drier and warmer weather returns for the middle
of next week.
Afternoon dispersions will range from good across the plains to excellent
across the mountains on Thursday. Friday will see excellent afternoon
dispersions district wide.
