.Discussion...
An upper level disturbance will trigger one more day of scattered
thunderstorms across southern CO through this evening, then drier
air will spread in with thunderstorms becoming more isolated and
confined to the mountain areas for Sunday into the early part of
next week. Temperatures will warm up but will still be below normal
for this time of year. A cold front will move in Wednesday afternoon
bringing a brief uptick in thunderstorms for Wednesday and Wednesday
night, but drier air is quick to follow for Thursday. Another pulse
of monsoon moisture appears to bring another upward trend to
thunderstorms for next weekend.
Afternoon dispersions will rise into the fair to good category for
both Sunday and Monday, but will increase into the very good category
for the southeast plains on Monday.
