.Discussion...
Made adjustments to the precipitation forecast on the Plains
based on the latest guidance.
Fire weather concerns are likely going to start to ramp up as
much drier air has moved into the region. During the next couple
of days winds will be relatively light so fire weather concerns
will be low, but by Monday into next week 20 foot surface will be
on the increase, and with very low dewpoints over the region,
surface humidity values will become critical. Likewise
meteorological conditions for extreme fire behavior will likely
develop Monday into Tuesday.
On Wednesday, cooler air should move into for the day, but it
will once again warm up and 20 foot winds will once again be on
the increase.
Smoke dispersion will be good or better both tomorrow afternoon
and Monday afternoon.
