.Discussion...
Elevated critical fire weather conditions will be possible this
afternoon, over portions of Fremont County and gap flow areas along
I-25. Warm temperatures, low humidities, and breezy westerly winds
will result in some spotty critical conditions through later this
afternoon. Winds will gust 20-25 mph, with RHs hovering around 10-15
percent. More elevated fire concerns will be possible on Thursday
over portions of the eastern plains. While dry conditions will last
through most of the next 7 days, no other critical fire weather
conditions are expected.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will be poor across most of the district
today and Wednesday. Some pocket of fair to good dispersions will be
present over portions of the Upper Arkansas and the southern San
Luis Valley.
