.DISCUSSION...

Dry conditions are expected through the early afternoon. Showers
and thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage by mid
afternoon and persist into the early to mid evening hours.
Coverage of showers and storms is expected to be highest between
1-8 PM MDT. By late evening, any precipitation around is
anticipated to dissipate or push eastward, with dry conditions
then prevailing into Monday morning. Monday afternoon then brings
another round of afternoon showers and storms, with the greatest
coverage between 3-8 PM MDT. Any stronger storm may produce heavy
rainfall, strong outflow winds to around 50 mph, small hail, and
frequent lightning. Winds through today will be mostly westerly to
northwesterly and sustained around 13-15 mph, with gusts up to 25
mph. Winds tonight and through Monday morning are expected to
become light and variable, with no appreciable gusts. By mid
tomorrow morning, winds again take on a more westerly component,
with sustained winds up to 10 mph, though still with no
appreciable wind gusts - just a few mph more than sustained winds.
Temperatures both today and tomorrow will top out around 70
degrees, with lows tonight falling to around 45-46 degrees.
