The main risk from any storm will be lighting and wind gusts up to 50 mph, with brief moderate to heavy rainfall and small hail. Wind gusts up to around 60 mph can`t be ruled with any stronger storm. Outside of any precipitation, southwest winds will gust up to 40 to 50 mph this afternoon. Temperatures cool behind the passing system, with sub freezing temperatures expected across the San Luis Valley late tonight into early Sunday morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Subfreezing temperatures will be possible across the San Luis Valley both Sunday and Monday mornings, with brief patchy frost also possible on the Palmer Divide Monday morning as well. Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms, mainly over and near the mountains, will continue to be possible for the Monday through Friday timeframe. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
