...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL LINCOLN...
NORTHWESTERN LOGAN AND WEST CENTRAL BOONE COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM
EDT...

At 446 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Chapmanville, or near Logan, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chapmanville, Chief Logan State, Mount Gay-Shamrock, West Logan,
Mitchell Heights, and Sharples.

This includes Route 119 between mile markers 28 and 46.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
