.DISCUSSION...
Warm temperatures today. Colder than normal temperatures
Monday and Tuesday. Winds Increasing.

A strong cold front will cross the mountains during the
afternoon and evening, bringing scattered showers and a
wind shift. Winds today will be from a southerly direction,
then shift to the northwest with the passage of the front
this evening. Behind the front, temperatures will turn
drastically colder for tonight and Monday in addition to
blustery northwest winds and snow flurries.

This will be some of the coldest air so far this season.
Temperatures in the 20s are expected Monday morning and
may dip into the teens Tuesday morning with wind chills
in the single digits. Water pumps need to be winterized.
Hoses should be drained.

For aviation...Near calm winds this morning will become
gusty out of the south and southwest this afternoon.
Passage of a strong cold front will bring a wind shift
from the northwest between 1600-1900. The main hazard
arrives with the passage of this front in the form of
moderate to severe low level turbulence which is
expected to continue for both Monday and Tuesday.
Mountain snow showers will also become a hazard for
Monday and Tuesday with potential for ridge obscurations.
