Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.30 inches, will expand across northern Ontario tonight and Thursday. This will drive a little cooler air across the region and cause an uptick in winds and waves in the nearshore. The high will drift to the southern Great Lakes Thursday night into Friday, sustaining dry conditions across the region. A secondary high pressure system is forecast to expand from Hudson Bay Friday to Lake Huron Saturday. This will drive a secondary push of gusty northeast winds, likely increasing winds and waves in the nearshore areas.
