.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will maintain drier conditions for much of the
region today before the next system brings in widespread
lowland rain, mountain snow, and breezy winds on Sunday. Cooler
and unsettled weather will continue into early next week, with
potential for additional systems to bring moderate to heavy rain
and mountain snow next week.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit over the weekend will
make it difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout
conditions. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.

.FRIDAY...Partly sunny. Freezing level near 5000 feet increasing
to 8500 feet in the afternoon.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. Areas of dense fog in the evening.
A slight chance of rain and snow after midnight. No snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 7000 feet.
.SATURDAY...Partly sunny with a slight chance of rain and snow.
Patchy fog. Snow level near 6500 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain and snow
in the evening, then a chance of rain and snow after midnight.
