Hot and humid conditions will persist through this week into the
upcoming weekend, with daily afternoon heat index values around
100-105 degrees.

Sustained southerly winds of 10-15 mph with gusts of 20-25 mph
across southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas each day through
late week. Minimum afternoon RH values will be between 30-40%.
Fire danger remains largely limited through the period.
