Weather hazards expected... Limited lightning risk. Limited excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION... Some scattered showers and thunderstorms are currently located over portions of the eastern Ozarks. These storms will continue producing lightning and heavy rainfall before pushing out of the area within the next couple of hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Temperatures gradually increase into the low to mid 90s through the weekend, with maximum heat index values up to 100 to 105 degrees. By the middle of next week, high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s are possible, along with maximum heat index values up to around 100-110 degrees. An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect from 12 PM Saturday until 7 PM Wednesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
