.DISCUSSION...
Stronger onshore flow combined with lowest daytime humidity of 5
to 10 percent for the deserts onto the desert slopes of the
mountains will result in near-critical fire weather conditions for
this afternoon and early evening. Onshore flow will slowly weaken
beginning on Tuesday with a recovery in humidity to 10 to 15
percent beginning on Thursday. Through Wednesday, high
temperatures will remain around 5 degrees above average near the
coast to 10 to 15 degrees above average for the deserts. This will
be followed by a gradual cooling trend for Thursday through next
weekend. A marine layer around 1000 feet deep through Tuesday
will deepen to 1500 to 2000 feet for next weekend.
