.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will begin to impact area fire districts after
midnight tonight, with widespread heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts
possible through the day Tuesday. Rain will come to an end by Wednesday,
with a few scattered showers possible later in the week. Minimum relative
humidity values will fall into the 50 to 80 percent range, with mixing
heights ranging from 1500 to 2500 ft. Southeast winds will continue
with gusts up to 20 mph possible across our east Texas districts, remaining
elevated overnight and beginning to shift to westerly with the arrival
of the cold front tomorrow.
