.DISCUSSION...
Another day of near triple digit heat with virtually no rain
in sight through the weekend and into much of next
week. That means flash drought conditions will continue across
most of the region with an increasing wildfire threat. Look for
minimum afternoon humidity levels today near 30 to near 40 percent
and even lower values for Sunday, ranging from near 25 to near
38 percent. Winds today should not be quite as strong as what
we saw on Friday, sustained near 5 to 10 mph with some higher
gusts.
