.DISCUSSION...
Low clouds and patchy fog are expected again this morning across
most of our East Texas and North Louisiana districts, mainly along
and south of Interstate 20. Meanwhile, a reinforcing cold front is
expected to arrive later today with still temperatures managing to
climb into the 60s for most areas later this afternoon along and
ahead of the frontal passage. Winds will shift west northwest with
the front as 20ft wind speeds generally range between 5-10 mph and
some slightly higher gusts. A gradual warming trend will follow
through Friday with winds shifting back southerly by Thursday as
high pressure shifts east of the region. Minimum RH values will
range between 30-50 percent this afternoon and again on Thursday
before increasing by Friday with southerly winds sending Gulf air
back northward.
