.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions will continue for the next
several days. The hot and dry conditions have allowed for ERC
percentiles to climb into the 70-89th percentile. Dry fuels
combined with breezy winds at times in the 10-20 MPH range will
allow for some risk of fires becoming uncontrollable once
started. Humidity values will be up and down this week largely
remaining in the 20-30% range. Scattered thunderstorms will
return to the forecast for Saturday. Barring widespread,
significant rainfall amounts, this activity may generate
lightning induced fire starts.
