.DISCUSSION...
Upper-level cloudiness will persist for most of the day over
Puerto Rico. This should keep temperatures a few degrees cooler
than expected, however, temperatures across southwest PR are
expected to reach the upper 80s early this afternoon. Southeast
winds due to the sea breeze will range between 14-18 mph with
gusts up to 30 mph. Diurnally induced afternoon showers and
isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop mainly north of
Lajas, over San German, Hormigueros, and Mayaguez.
El cielo permanecera mayormente nublado hoy a traves de Puerto
Rico debido a nubosidad en los niveles altos de la atmosfera. Esto
mantendra las temperaturas un poco menos calientes de lo usual,
sin embargo, se espera que las temperaturas lleguen a los altos 80
grados temprano esta tarde en el suroeste de PR. El viento estara
del sureste debido a la brisa marina y fluctuara entre 14-18 mph
con rafagas hasta 30 mph. Se espera actividad de aguaceros y
tronadas en la tarde, mayormente al norte de Lajas, sobre San
German, Hormigueros y Mayaguez.
