.DISCUSSION...Weak high pressure over northwest Utah Sunday night
into early Monday morning will shift east ahead of an approaching
trough. This trough is expected to end up just grazing northern
Utah on Monday. However, it will still push a cold front through
the burn site Monday afternoon, although currently this front
looks fairly dry. Expect northwesterly downslope winds to be
enhanced behind the front later Monday afternoon into Monday
night. Good mixing can be expected especially near and behind the
cold front Monday afternoon. By Tuesday, as the storm system
exits the area, high pressure will start to build back into the
area. With cooler and more stable conditions, mixing conditions
are expected to decrease for Tuesday, with clearing index below
500.
