.DISCUSSION...Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to
continue in the vicinity of the burn area through around 1800.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms quickly dwindle around
sunset. Showers and thunderstorms once again develop along the
high terrain on Sunday after roughly noon, with very slow movement
through the evening. Similar conditions exist each day into early
next week as monsoon moisture lingers across the region. Storms
through this period will be capable of producing frequent lightning,
locally heavy rainfall, and gusty and erratic outflow winds to
30-40 mph. Given the more localized nature of heavy rainfall,
chances for wetting rains generally remains 30-50% into early next
week.
