.DISCUSSION...While today will see a relative lull in the weather,
isolated to widely scattered rain and snow showers are still
expected over/near the burn site. The showers will be weaker
compared to yesterday and will not produce significant
precipitation amounts. Things will change tomorrow as deep
moisture will bring widespread heavier precipitation. This next
round of precipitation begins tonight, becoming heavier by
sunrise. Expect mostly snow with some rain mixed in tomorrow
through midafternoon before a cold front brings a transition to
all snow. Expect generally less than 0.15 inches of precipitation
through early this evening. Overnight through Sunday night,
precipitation amounts will be in the 1-1.5 inch range with 3-7
inches of snow. Winds will remain southerly through Sunday
afternoon, then transition to westerly to northwesterly behind the
cold front.
