.DISCUSSION...High pressure will bring hot temperatures, with
temperatures above 95F all but certain this afternoon, and a low
chance of highs reaching 100 degrees. Winds will be light and
terrain driven away from thunderstorms. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms will develop later today, with a low (20-30
percent) chance of the fair seeing impacts from lightning or gusty
outflow winds. Per latest computer models, the potential for
showers will be highest during the early evening, between 5pm and
7pm.
