If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...Active weather will persist through at least Saturday night, with heavy rainfall and lightning being the main hazards. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through the area overnight, becoming more widespread between 0300-0800. A brief break is then expected before stronger thunderstorms develop after roughly 1200; these thunderstorms may be capable of producing strong outflow wind gusts and/or hail. Although mixing heights will be fairly low, stronger winds will result in clearing indices around 600. By the evening, a potent cold front will move through around 2000-2100, bringing a sudden wind shift to gusty west- northwesterly winds and a period of heavy precipitation. Snow levels will quickly fall behind the front to around 7500ft by 0300 and 6500ft by 0900. .TONIGHT... Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (85-95 percent cloud cover).
