.DISCUSSION...Active weather will persist through at least
Saturday night, with heavy rainfall and lightning being the main
hazards. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move
through the area overnight, becoming more widespread between
0300-0800. A brief break is then expected before stronger
thunderstorms develop after roughly 1200; these thunderstorms may
be capable of producing strong outflow wind gusts and/or hail.
Although mixing heights will be fairly low, stronger winds will
result in clearing indices around 600.

By the evening, a potent cold front will move through around
2000-2100, bringing a sudden wind shift to gusty west-
northwesterly winds and a period of heavy precipitation. Snow
levels will quickly fall behind the front to around 7500ft by 0300
and 6500ft by 0900.
