DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to
develop along the periphery of an upper level low over northeast
Oklahoma. Marginal wind shear along with moderate instability
within an axis from Carroll county to LeFlore county will support
some strong to marginally severe storms through the evening. Large
hail near quarter size and strong wind gusts up to 60 mph will be
possible with strongest activity.

Moist ground from recent rainfall and clearing skies overnight
will aid in the development of fog across portions of northeast
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Visibility at times will drop
below 1/2 mile especially in valleys and low spots.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Local Spotter Activation is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY...No Hazards.
TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.
WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
FRIDAY and SATURDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Daytime temperatures will warm into the lower 90s on Tuesday. The
combination of warm temperatures and high humidity will create
early season, dangerous heat conditions with heat index values in
the 100 to 105 degree range. Pop-up storms will also be possible
in the summertime airmass Tuesday afternoon. A storm system will
pass across the central Plains on Wednesday and push a weak
frontal boundary into the area. Storms are expected to focus along
the boundary Wednesday afternoon and evening and bring the threat
of large hail an damaging winds.
