EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Quiet weather continues through Thursday. Breezy south winds
will develop on Friday ahead of a strong Arctic cold front. A few
rain showers are possible Friday afternoon into Friday night,
especially in Arkansas. The strong Arctic front arrives late
Friday night and will bring bitterly cold northerly winds on
Saturday. As temperatures continue to drop through the weekend, dangerously
low wind chills may develop starting late Saturday night through
Tuesday with the coldest temperatures of the season so far. No
meaningful snow is currently forecast through the weekend.
