.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Thursday... There will be good coverage
of rain/snow showers over the plains tomorrow and all snow in the
higher terrain. The high levels of humidity will keep fire weather
concerns on the lower side. Smoke dispersal will vary across our
forecast area but will mostly be fair.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday night through Monday... Cool and
unsettled weather will continue Friday and Saturday, with light
rain and snow showers across most of the forecast area. The best
chance of measurable snow/wetting precipitation will be across the
lower foothills into the southwestern Denver metro. Lighter
precipitation amounts are forecast elsewhere. Temperatures will be
below normal both days, with a warming and drying trend likely
Sunday into next week. Smoke dispersal on Friday and Saturday will
generally be poor to fair across the foothills and I-25 corridor,
with fair to good conditions elsewhere. Better dispersal is
forecast on Monday and Tuesday.
